Ch08: VS Wolf
I used the skill Maki(Magic+Ki) and slowly cautiously put my head outside the cave to check the surroundings carefully, because I thought I would be attacked by the wolf like last time when I went out carelessly, so this time I will quietly leave the cave.
(There was no wolf...)
In front of me there was only one road that divides into two paths the right and the left, there were only 2 choices in front of me.
(There is no wind or intuition...)
If I get lost, I go left! I triggered my own rule, I walked along the road, a wolf appeared from my back within few minutes since I started walking.
"Gurururu."
A-re? Before, when I first saw it the only thought I had back then was I will be eaten alive. But, now I do not feel like that at all, then I remembered those mob characters who gets full of themselves and die faster, I once again tightened my mind. Slowly the distance between me and the wolf slowly shrunk, I thought about 'First strike to win!', but the wolf opened it's mouth wide and jumps over.
(Dodge to the side and hit it!)
The moment I moved sideways.
"Don!"
I suddenly stuck into the wall.
"why!"
It surprised me but there was no pain at all, as I thought it's no good to use Maki without a good practice. Wolf seemed to be surprised as well and took distance and watching me, but it seems to attack soon, the moment I got out the wall without looking away from the wolf, it jumped towards me to attack again.
"Kuso!"
If I cannot control the movement speed! I timed my fist to hit the lower jaw of the wolf the moment it jumped over by waving my right hand...
"Pan!"
With a popping balloon sound the wolf head was blown.
"Eh?"
With only minced meat of lower body of the wolf, I was stunned in a state where the fist was swung in front of me.
"Is that... one ***** man?" (TL note: One punch man)
But I do not feel any guilty than I thought? Is this also another world correction? Is it okay to put it as everything as a different world correction? But even if I think about it, I do not know, I cannot even ask...
"After all it tried to hurt me, is it OK if I kill it?"
That's what I thought. But, there may be more monsters, so I tightened my mind and concentrated to my surroundings.
(There seems to be no monsters in my visible range, but...)
I restarted walking again to the further back, but I hit a dead end shortly afterwards.
(Is it a dead end... was right path the correct answer?)
There was nothing here, there were no roads in front and back, left and right, up and down.
(Luck is bad for both entrance and exit...)
Normally one road has one entrance, the other one is an exit... the guy who made this dungeon had bad taste... For today I will go back to the cave the way I came here. But I cannot get inside...
(A-re? I cannot enter it?)
The cave I cannot enter although it can be seen.
(Do I have no choice but to move forward... but why? Even though I could enter before, is there a rule like if I defeated a monster, I could not enter...)
While complaining in my heart, I moved past the cave, after that I never encountered a monster and went out to a big hall.
(Is this the end? Is it a small dungeon? There is only one monster encountered.)
When I look over the hall, I discovered a gorgeous door that seems to be over 5 meters on the left side.
(It's big, is this the exit, but I have a bad feeling...)
I only feel bad, but as long as I get to the door.
"Girygiggy! "
It began to open automatically as if it would welcome me.
"As I thought I only have a bad feeling about this... I have no choice but to go in..."
I slowly advanced...
